In order to have a balanced diet for your feathered friends, you should feed a variety of different foods. Variety is key for a healthy parrot.
Seeds should only be part of the diet no more than 30% off the entire diet. Freeze dried or fresh veggies and fruit should also be at least 15% of the diet
(More veggies rather than fruit should be fed)
A high-quality pellet should also be fed that should take at least 40% of the diet.
Nuts, spices and herbs should also be fed but only 10% of the diet.
Remember variety is key so rotating what you feed is important. For example if they get carrots and kale this week try broccoli and cauliflower next week.
